Just wondering if we can do a quick getaway this weekend somewhere fairly near Ludlow but to the South and/or West to make it easier. Builth, Llandrindod, Rhayader, Clun, Bishop's Castle etc.

Any suggestions?

We are stopping at Rhandirmwynย (camping and caravaning site) and totally loving it. There is a really nice mtb route within 2 miles, good pub, steam for the kids to play in, lovely walking.

Ludlow has a brand new caravan site, about 1 mile south of the town, you can walk to ludlow, and the excellent trails at mortimer forest and bringewood dh area are about 1 to 2 miles away.

I live in ludlow so ill take ya round them if ya like

Nah I grew up nearby, my parents live there so the one by the cattle market is probably too close ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks tho, I may be interested in finding some of the latest trails in the woods though, it's all changed more than once since I used to ride there twice a week ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha, know what ya mean ๐Ÿ™‚

Ive only been here 3 years, but the trail network has almost doubled even in those 3 years. There are new trails popping up all the time.
Im around most of the weekend, let us know if fancy a ride.

Looks like we are going back to Pembrokeshire now instead because my sister is there (the one who teaches in Ludlow college incidentally) but we are in Ludlow regularly of course. I'll see if you are around next time ๐Ÿ™‚
