Afternoon all...
What is the car stereo version of this forum?
I want to get a new head unit for the car and it's a minefield, most cars ive ever had just had a cassette player in 😉
I need to ask stupid questions and not get laughed at! I want to go D.I.Y but still want to have a working car after I've finished!

They're mostly ISO plug and play these days, 10 minute job. (he says...)
The last time I fitted one, which was a generation or so ago, it was a case of getting a ten quid wiring loom adapter kit from Halfords. Eg, a Sony to Ford adapter or a Panasonic to Vauxhall adapter.
the car is a 2004 Honda HRV, i know i need a 'harness' to convert the 1940's wiring to the new fandango stuff.
