So it's that time of year and I am considering two quotes.

My current insurers have quoted me a reasonable, but not great quote.
I have an on-going claim in dispute & they have stated that if I am found not at fault, they will refund me the difference between the price with an open claim & my NCD dropped to 2yrs and the price with a no fault claim & my NCD raised to 5yrs. Should work out to ~£200 refund.

Admiral offered me a better quote, but not a heap better and I was going to not bother.
But they have just rung back & offered their multi-car policy. With this set-up, the insurance for my car is almost £100 less than the quote above, plus I think that the quote for my partners car is also coming in cheaper than she's currently paying.
They have also stated they will re-imburse the full difference as above if I am found not at fault with my disputed claim.

Now on the face of it, I would have thought it would be better to go with the cheaper Admiral quote as I am saving almost £100 straight off the bat, and they will give me the same re-imbursement terms.
But, I wonder if the disputed claim will actually be dealt with quicker if I stay with my current insurer?? Anyone know if this is the case? If I move to another insurer, will they drag their heels even more than they are doing now, or will things proceed at the same pace as they still have their costs to recoup?

Can't decide what to do?!
For those who remember, the claim in dispute is the stupid bint who reversed into my car in July, but then claimed that she was stationary & I hit her. It's now going to a court hearing apparently!
