just looking round for the mrs car insurance and ive looked all over the usual suspects and comparison sites but all are around 50% more than last year even tho nothing has changed ?? anyone got any ideas on a good deal

Are you surprised the premiums have gone up by 50%? Somebody's got to pay for all those adverts.
All those ****ing irritating insurance adverts that play every 5 ****ing minutes while I try to watch TdF coverage.

insurance on a whole has gone up which is bollocks - i have 3 years ncb this year and insurance is the same price as it was with zero last year - the 3 years was trapped on another car !
