Have we discussed this? Series of documentary films by Adam Curtis on iPlayer which are about... umm ... what? Best I can say is that they are about power, and about how we got to the place we are, wide-ranging, sometimes seems disordered, from Mao's China to Harlem, links between unlikely figures, leading to the geenral conclusion that we are living in a state of fantasy, a sort of opium for the masses fuelled not just by Valium and Oxy-Contin.
Best thing is just to watch a bit ๐
Adam Curtis is amazing. But he's been making these sort of documentaries for years and the same s&&t is still going on.
The rich and powerful rule and always will, we the regular folk are too distracted with working and thinking things like football are important to challenge this.
We as a society don't seem to learn. So when the world goes to hell it'll be good to known that it was well documented 😭
Adam Curtis sucks. Future shocking for the sake of it. Nothing changes by watching it, and he knows he can just repeat the same thing.
Just as a counterpoint
Not Sunday Kylie then?

Mmm, so how do I get to be Rich and Powerful then. I fancy some of that.
Not Sunday Kylie then?
