The bloke is an utter bellend but that was completely staged, like all pro wrestling.

Looks as scripted as an epidode of Top Gear to me.

I'd be certain that this is indeed 'a work'

Three people within a minute to say it was staged/scripted. 🙂

Edit: and even the OP edits to say he agrees 🙂

That didn’t even look realistic at all!
The way all the guys spread out nicely so the could “hit” them all one by one 😆

Choreographer needs sacking.

Bruce Lee would have been proud of that choreography. Lots of pulled punches to the forehead. Given the fact that it's WWE I'm surprised it took a 2nd viewing to rumble the act 😉

Of course it was scripted, but that doesn't mean it's not entertaining. You know like a film or something 😁😁

OMG! WWE is fake. I feel used. Google Steven Seagal martial arts exhibition fight. Just as funny.

So, er, has Ramsey Neil been back to say he knew it was fake? 😆

[edit]haha! Just noticed he edited his post "on second viewing"!! I am entertained! (STW is far better than wrestling)

Total work (says the not-very-closet wrestling fan)

They're recycling old plot lines for a cheap bit of attention again - they had Muhammad Ali at once of the early Wrestlemanias, then did the same with Steve Austin/Mike Tyson way back when, and Butterbean/Bart Gunn, then Big Show/Mayweather, now Strowman/Fury. It'll be a nice little pay day for both of them, it gets another set of eyes on things, it'll work out.

The out of character interviews with Paul Wight (Big Show) about the Mayweather fight and the build up to it are quite interesting, him pointing out just how hard Mayweather actually hit him especially.

Oh, and for all those shouting "Wrestling's fake!" - do you think people don't know already? None of the major companies have tried to sell their content as being 'real' for the best part of two decades now...

I enjoyed it. I think he's a good showman.

Loved the multiple knockdowns.

WWE is hilarious.

Google Steven Seagal martial arts exhibition fight. Just as funny.

I just did and it's only funny  when viewed out of context.

In the context of an Aikidoka demonstrating techniques to other Aikidoka it's not funny at all.

If anything, it's a little sad as an old, fat guy tries to relive his past glories and hundreds of people give him the respect to do it.

It's a bit like when Arnold Palmer  or Jack Nicklaus used to play in the Masters in their eighties.

+1 he's gone up (slightly) in my estimation after that! He knows how to entertain, that's for sure.

There's a rich history of film stars/boxers etc guesting at wrestling shows. Mike Tyson did it a few times back in the day.

What's really funny is that someone thought it was a genuine fight, even for a second 😂 If a heavyweight boxer starts popping people for real, there's gonna be blood for a start 😃

Fury sparks 'mass brawl' at WWE event

No need to click play to know it’s staged. 🤷🏻‍♂️

He's a natural, excellent bit of casting there.

Win-win in terms of boosting his profile and WWE's.

35 secs in, I've never seen so many fake punches. The only way you'd believe that was genuine was if you were sat at the back.

Taxi jnr informs me this is to set up a Tyson v Strowman fight at the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia. By all accounts the crown prince is a wrestling fan so its a money no object deal.

him pointing out just how hard Mayweather actually hit him especially.

Please tell me he said "it's no wonder he's a masterful defensive boxer, he needs to be, he punches like a toddler"

I'll happily tell it to moneyweather if you don't mind me using your name.

It's as staged as those 80s films with all the ninjas leaping around the hero but not actually doing anything.

I took a Nigerian custoner to see a wrestling match; he was convinced it was all real but after five minutes watching it in real life rather than on TV, he turned to me and said: "It's all fake!"

WWE it didn’t need any views.

WWE it didn’t need any views.

They do have some unscripted ring invasions, occasionally. The nutjob who tackled Bret Hart (and then got laid out by a bunch of people) during his Hall of Fame speech bring the most recent example.

But yes, setting up Strowman vs Fury for many many monies in Saudi.
