Currently thinking about buying a Canon DSLR camera. I've currently got a 35mm EOS with a Tamron 28-200mm autofocus lens - anyone know if I can re-use the lend on a DSLR body??
TIA,
Carl

IME you should be fine.

I think it depends on what body you plan to get.

EOS EF mount lenses will work on canon EOS DSLR but i think it is a 1.6x magnification factor on the non full frame DSLR camera so your 28-200 would have more zoom.
Hope that helps, a quick google should tell you more.

Indeed the field of view will be magnified by 1.6 on a Canon cropped sensor camera, so yours will effectively become 45-320mm
Should work fine though
