I want to cancel Sky as of end of the month. My DD is due tomorrow. If I cancel it now so it doesn't go through, is there a grace period that I can get away with without the service dying?
I cancelled movies and music channel a coupe of weeks ago and they're still working 🙂
Not sure what happens if you just cancel the DD without telling them you want to stop sky altogether, would probably carry on for a little while until they found out you wanted to cancel.

I'm looking to cancel mine too. From what I've read, I think you need to give a full months notice (prob over the phone, setanta need a letter and account number i think). Not sure if that means you still get to watch the channels for that month or not.
If they are anything like mobile co's they will enforce notice periods aggressively.
