[Closed] Canary Wharf - Quiet café with free wifi. At rush hour.

Many Starbuckses, they aren't particularly noisy. One of them has some sofas and is not really noisier than a normal Starbucks. They won't be busy outside of lunchtime to be fair.

That's where I'd head. Let me look and see if I can figure out which one it is.

EDIT: I think it's Jubilee Place that's the larger one, not sure though. It's a right old rabbit warren down there.

There's a place on North Colonnade near the Evans that supposedly serves gourmet coffee but it was absoutely rank when I tried it. And it's not a good place to work either.

Drop Fred a line and ask him. I think he goes thieving in the area.
