Looking this year to visit NW Spain (Galicia) can you recommend self catering accomodation in the area? Going on a budget so low prices are important.

If you'd posted a couple of hours earlier I'd have asked the gallegan sitting next to me. He had to go home early, so sorry!

I asked him, and he wasn't much use - he always goes to his parents' house...

Still, try googling "casa rural galicia" - they're usually fairly good value, though not always self-catering.

Stoner - That looks close to the perfect holiday!

More mates there, a girl, and a Moto GP thrown in would be it - 100%.

Galicia is an absolutley beautiful part of the world, completely unlike the typical costa's - if you want to stay somewhere very special there is a pension right beside the cathedral in Santiago which is veery reasonable
