Looking to fix some electrodes on a small 'button' battery. Surrounded by lots of plastic so don't fancy soldering. Looks like the previous electrodes were bonded rather than soldered.

Does anyone know of a conductive adhesive which would be good for this? If so, is there a recommended product?

Cheers

Quite correct, AKA Silver epoxy, room temperature setting, economic for small jobs, available from Maplin (other electronics shops are also suppliers).

Found this:

on the Maplin site. According to the FAQs, it isn't suitable for electrical connections. Can't find anything called 'silver epoxy'. Am I being dim?

it's use in Surface-Mount Electronics assembly in place of solder re-flow. Made by Locktite, 3M and others.

You might try the gear in Halfords that's sold for fixing heated rear windows in cars?
