As with all cars nowadays it looks to have a daft little spoiler on the top of the roof, which may get in the way of fitting a bike rack
Its the 2002 GX version, I'm considering it as a cheap runaround.

Have you considered a Seasucker? Works well for me.

Pretty sure a Halfrauds high mount rack worked on my dad's '99 turbo, before he switched to a towball mounted affair.

Towbar rack, assuming you can afford the cost of the towbar as well as the rack.
