Random question, anyone know the answer?
Got a double bed to shift and need to work out if i need to hire a van or call in a favour off a mate.

If you fold it in half and bungee it, and put the passenger seat forward, yes.
Did it two weeks ago,.

If it's an expensive pocket sprung one, you might ruin it folding it In half.

that's a no then, the bed's pretty chunky as well so would have needed a car with a 4ft6 x 6ft load bay then put the bed bits on top.

I've strapped a mattress to the roof for a shortish journey. Worked ok
