“Helping” to alter the curtains!

Nice walk on Cheswick Sands this evening.
I have absolutely NOT been digging in the garden

All that not digging is quite tiring tho!

Swapping the morning morning walk from a park to a windswept beach is delightful.

The hounds is pooped after an hour of charging about sniffing seaweed and chasing gulls.

@boomerlives - I love this thread. So many happy doggos in nice places.
Roxie is now 100% chasing Lola the Lab everywhere. So after an hour of 'wooooahh what is that SMELL' woodland activity, she's currently in 'static rug' mode and I don't expect that to change for a couple of hours!
I should get one of those GPS trackers, we walked just under 4k with 80m of climbing according to my Garmin. Dogs must have done double or triple that mostly at high speed!
Who knew the hound was so cultured?

6 months old, one big walk and one short walk. One tired puppa
a brief moment of the pup not attempting to eat the ear of the senior dog.

That's either a small hay bale or a much bigger dog than I was expecting!
Harold is a big handsome boy.
What lights are we wearing this season?

The hound considering a life at sea. Then she remembered she doesn't like getting wet so we went to the pub for lunch.
Well, we've been thinking about getting a second dog for a while and finally decided to push the button during the summer holidays – last week we picked up Maple (I wanted to call her Gizmo because of her colouring/patching but was over-ruled by our teenage girls as all pets have to have food-related names – our other dog is called Toffee).
So here she is – a Cavalier King Charles / Shih Tzu cross (CavaTzu )...

And here she is with Toffee – Toffee isn't too sure yet, but we are getting there.

Randal won a prize! (Best Dog in Show and 2nd Best Rescue)
Randal is a "Handsome Boy".
That head tilt!
Not out dog, but this cheeky little chap is wandering around the restaurant hoovering scraps.

Oscar with his older brother Angus.
Early morning clambering on the Cuillin, recharging his batteries afterwards, beach in the evening.
A loved dog has an awesome life*

Whats the tent, it looks reasonably light and also dog proof.
My dads '72 force10 mk4 is bomb proof but its not a carrier
It's a Nordick Ydun - it's a car camping tent as it's polycotton and heavy.
It's in the PSA thread, OMM are selling them off cheap at £160
Ah,in that case my vango is still going strong 🙂
I’m not really a dog person myself, we have cats instead (obviously I crave contempt, not affection), but called in on my best mate yesterday and he’s just retired from the forces which means he can get a dog again. He always had dogs when we were kids. Say hello to Tina, who is ridiculously cute and quite bitey (in a playful way). Zonked out after an afternoon of running around like a lunatic…

Agree, i am emotionally invested in kiwi updates.
Well to be fair, most of the doggos on here.
Loving all the doggie pics and the places they go and how they sleep. Ok. Will follow up with the Kiwi hair reconstruction! So far it’s coming down the back and over the head. I’ll get better shots tomorrow
In the meantime here is a snap of her first trip to the Forest with her own personal bodyguard.

Lovely photo. There is something wonderful about seeing a hound going full pelt on a beach. It’s the glee in their eye and the enjoyment of just running they exhibit. Followed by hours of snoring and farting as they rest up after!
Happy third gotcha day to our Stacey. Here's to many more years of marathon naps, frantic zoomies and adventures together.
