I thought the railways were privatized by the old witch, why is the government or the last Labour lot investing in them. Why aren't the rail companies investing in themselves, is this to do with Rail Track failing?
Wasn't the whole idea of privatizing the railways a complete balls up. I can fly to Stockholm cheaper than catching a train from Bristol to London.

That is a nice London centric bit of development there.
Do they know other places exist?
