I have an original GoPro Hero with a standard 2GB SD card, can I replace the card with a larger memory SDHC card? Thanks

SDHC the HC bit stands for High Capacity. It just means a higher capacity on the card.

The only thing to watch out for is the class of card I believe it needs to be class 4 or above for video depending on the resolution.
