Anybody know?
As my son wants the new console for his birthday but I don't think he can play his DS games from his DSlite 😕
Anybody know?

Yes. The whole DS range is backwards compatible. The caveat is that the 3DS screen resolution is higher, so they will look blurry if you launch them normally; you need to hold down Start as it boots and then load the game from the menu, which will load it with a border instead.
£115 from Amazon and Tesco currently, I hear.

Seems it's Start + Select, not just Start.
