I've got a PIR light on my garage which has stopped working, so I'm presuming the PIR sensor is knackered. Is there anything I can do to it to make it stay on all the time when it's plugged in?
It may have a timer dial on the back, just wind it all the way out if so. Otherwise just rewire it.
Usually if you switch it on then off, then back on again it stays on.
Take it apart and bypass the the pir.
Google it... A quick off-on-off-on or similar often bypasses the PIR and will make the light stay on permanently until dawn or when you switch it back off.
The one on my house did the same, I spent a while fiddling with it and the on off, on off, on off thing worked on mine sometimes. In the end 6quid at wickes for a new non pir light seemed worthwhile!
