[Closed] Can Anyone Help With a Network HDD Problem?

I'd appreciate any collective STW wisdom.

I have a Lacie Network Space which is currently misbehaving: it's still turning on and the drive spins up but my network can't see it wirelessly or over a cable.

I've done a bit of digging and it seems that some registry file has grown too big, as before it stopped being visible it was saying it was full (it isn't - it's about 1/4 full).

Questions are: can I do anything to it to make it visible again? Can I recover the data from it (I have back ups but not as up to date as I'd like...)? I don't mind opening it up and removing the drive because I've decided to replace it now anyway with one that isn't garbage.
