As the subject really, where's the best place for the dog to kip?

Dog could get very hot in a car in the summer. Kea slept in her cage in the porch when we went camping. We had to buy a tent with a huge porch mind!! One of those ground screw thingies is useful too

Well mostly in the porch:

I managed to get a jack russell and a long legged lucher cross plus the young lady in a two man voyager superlight. Little one slept on my chest the other slept at the bottom of the bags. It was a bit of a tardis

I go camping a lot with a mate who has two medium sized dogs, our tent has 2 sleep areas,he takes the dogs in his bit ,i put all the food in mine or the car.
Unless its a very well behaved dog,it will try to get into any food containers that are in the tent, and it really is a pain in the ar*e constantly trying to keep them away from it.Best keep all the food in the car.
We tried letting them sleep in the car but they whine constantly and it really isn't fair on them, especially if its only one dog.
And watch what you feed him prior to going, doggie farts are not nice ๐Ÿ˜ก

Eric Sleeps on the end of our airbed..

He starts of on his own bed down the side, but I always wake up with his head lying across my legs..

Our Boxxer used to sleep in the porch.

Half way through the night, he'd sneak in between the inner and fly then lean over inwards, collapsing the inner tent onto us.

Turned into a regular trick when we has near tents! Always looked very pleased with himself!

Monty of MLB sleeps in the tent with me on his own mat, of course it gets a bit grrrry and wooffy and he might "snuggle" a bit close on the old alpkit bag, but hey its called dogs and hills and fun and all that

My mutt sleeps in the tent with me/us. So long as she's dried off before coming in, then it's OK but a wet dog in a small confined space isn't great.

Im ashamed to say that when im Home, my Springer sleeps by my feet and my cocker has his own pillow next to my wife. Cant imagine the tent situation would be any different...
