MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I've got a Centon K100 camera and a spare lens. Belonged to my Grandfather but I've never used it. Not really into photography (nudge nudge wink wink). The spare lens is made by Hama? Pictures below. But any idea what they would be worth?
Will be selling them soon so any interest as well?
My guess is £10-£20 if you're lucky.
For just the camera or camera and lens?
For both.
Take a look on ebay, if there are loads of unbid ones, then pretty much nothing.
Sorry to say not as much as you think. The market for film cameras is virtually dead. I'd agree with to £10 - £20 estimate.
I'm afraid I'd say not even that.
Unless it's a camera that was very good in its day (Olympus OM-1, Nikon F5 etc), it's pretty much junk.
IIRC the centon (Jessops own brand??) was a rebadged Pentax K100. Probably of little help, but may be useful in trying to punt the lense separately.
Noticed this 'ere example on STW the other day http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-film-camera-set-multiple-lenses-lovely-condition-bargain
not a sniff
