Somebodies not nicked your bike again.

I always think of running as for people who cant ride a bike, or can afford a car and are chaseing a bus.

Good skills.

I ran for 30 mins or so for the first time a couple of years back, shortly after someone let me into the secret that when you run, you don't have to run as fast as you can, all the time (I know, it's obvious to some people, just not to me).

It's a great thing to have when you just want a quick hit of excercise and you don't have much time.

Keep up the good work!

I used to love running when I was a kid, just run somewhere, run back! Forrest Gump style. Seems a bit daft now I'm growed up. Just play on bikes instead 😉

I ran for 12 mins non-stop at lunchtime and I was very chuffed. Mainly because my wife, who is very out of shape, and my eldest daughter (6yo) did it with me, in the Sport Relief mile, so well done them. I was also somewhat hindered by having to carry a camelback with more food and spare clothes in it than I'd take on a 5 hour ride, and having a mardy 3yo on my shoulders too.

Somewhat ironically, shortly after we'd finished and my jockey had finished her celebratory ice cream she was overwhelmed with a sudden rush of energy and ran most of the way back to the car park at a pace that shamed most of the other runners. Can't win with kids.
