Anyone done it?

What is the deal with looking around the cat before the auction starts or does it greatly depend on the centre?

I'm off to pitch 'Cats Under the Hammer' to the commissioning editor of the BBC's 'people who don't have to go to work in the morning but have too much self respect to watch Jeremy Kyle' strand.

I wonder if Matthew Chinnery is available to present.

I bought a Puss in Boots.

I'm sure other pharmacies offer a similar service.

I tried. Was constantly outbid by the Pope.

The important thing in any auction is you have to be prepared , even expect, to walk away empty handed. People bid over the odds because they treat it like going to the shops and expect to leave with something. But its better to leave with nothing and go back another day - there'll always be more auctions.

So expect to be going once, going twice and possibly even going three times.

But this is cats, remember, so they could only be going at the ninth time

There is a new series called Squeeler Dealers. 2 mice do up an old cat to sell on for profit.

Remember though when bidding, that what you thought was your purrfect price may be inflated through a buyer's premium or other hidden claws. Remember to keep a reserve sum in the kitty.

I remember back in the day you’d only go to the auctions if you wanted an old jaguar.

Have you considered trying a Hairball Remedy?
