Shouldn't be any problem.
AFAIK it is exctly the same unit in the box. It may even come with a UK charger as my UK one came with the full selection (UK/Euro/US) where you clip the prongs onto the plug unit. It's no matter anyway as it's just a USB charger so you can use any you have laying about.

Unless you are getting a 510 which doesn't have mapping.

Obviously units without basemaps won't have that issue.
Garmin used to have three versions of their mapping models, Europe, America and Asia (which includes Australia).
