[Closed] Buying a digital camera

Hi all, looking to buy a point and shoot easy to use digital camera. I don't have any aspirations to be a photographer or anything, just something that can capture what I see better than throw away cameras that Ive been using for the past few years would be fine.

I don't want to walk into the shop sounding like a total newb with the risk of being taken advantage, so thought I'd try do some research!

Would buying one online be better? I think it would be cheaper anyway. I don't want to spend much, about 150-200 quid.
