In the car or on the bike?

No 6 Tea Rooms in Buxton is lovely, but maybe depends how sweaty and muddy you might be! If you're heading out (a fair bit) then the Flash Stores cafe is top stuff (on the Leek road) - cracking grub, nice prices and a warm welcome in our experience.

Right in the centre of Buxton, there is a place called "The Cafe" on a road called The Terrace next to zebra crossing with a big red illy sign outside it
The food is very nice and coffee and cakes are good too. Park your bike outside the window

Will be on the tandem, riding over from Whaley side on the road so won't be too mucky. Flash is not on our route cheers

Hey Bunnyhop good to hear you and Jules are out and about again - confidence building up?

We always head for this one clickety

The foods brill. Park the tandem outside and you can watch it from the window seats too. It's on Terrace Road opposite The Slopes on the left as you head up to the Market Sq.

Brilliant.

There will be 2 tandems (or is it tandi)? I'd like to see someone try and run off with one 🙂

You can put the tandems outside my shop and I'll keep an eye!

I am just down the road from the Green Pavilion on the other side of the road on the outer edge of the Cavendish Arcade. We have pillars too, and bunting strung between them.

I know where that shop is and I'm not letting Bunnyhop anywhere near it, I can't afford that!

Definitely the right recommendation, that's the café I always use when I'm working up there

(Makes mental note to try the Flash stores at some point.....)

Oi, coming to Buxton and not popping in to say hi would be considered rude nbt! 😀

I can help anyone leave with less cash and more dash if they like though 😉

Did you go on the High Peak Trail?

+ another one for the cafe in the pic
In Buxton awhile ago not knowing where to eat and spotting cyclists sat outside I shoved the wife in the door, always the sign of good food, having a group of cyclists sat outside 🙂
Wasn't disapointed

Yes we did, Marple to Whaley on the canal, over the top on Old Lane into Buxton for lunch, out via Harpur Hill to the High Peak trail all the way to Cromford. Cracking ride.
