why is it than when you're out on a run, and have to cross a big field with a ****in' huge bull in it, it waits until you're right in the middle of the field before it stands up and jogs towards you? shattin' frig.

Go round the perimeter of the field? Statistically the middle of the field is a Bull's favourite bit.

the bull was perimeter based prior to my crossing - sprint or walk calmly - tricky choice. so i sprinted like a banshee

turn round, advance on it making noise and raising youar arms, then **** it on the nose. Then you put your fingers up his nostrils and lead him a merry dance.

seriously, if the bull was getting leery, a twap on the snout used to get its attention 😉

Other than that, if you're running out of space and he's gaining on you, a bull has a lousy turning circle: shimmy to the side.

You mean you didn't carry a great ****ing red cape with you? No swords? No castanets for a bit of suspense? You ran away?

Try not to leave your "shimmying" til the last minute though
