Hey everyone.
I'm taking a friend to see Toots and the Maytals supporting The Specials in May at the NEC.
I know the place is surrounded by chain hotels which are fine but usually a bit pricey. So, I'm looking for suggestions on the cheapest (and they say romance is dead) way to have a few beers while not travelling too far at the end of the night. I don't know the area very well so any ideas about hotels, b&bs, taxis firms will be welcome. Thank you.

Travelodge ,less than 70 quid

Just checked AirBnB - you can get somewhere that looks decent for less than £30!
