No good on Brighton beach. You're never going to get able to skim a stone with them on.
I took a proper shovel last time and built a sandcastle to stand the test of time. Next time, maybe I'll hire a 360.
Proper shovel and a builder's bucket is the only solution 🙂

When on holiday on the north Dutch coast in October a couple of years back Dutch families were turning up with hand carts full of serious spades and buckets that a builder.would have been proud of. Made our one plastic trowel and castle bucket look very inadequate!.
