Having trouble getting a homehub to reach all areas of my house, mainly due to a ruddy great wall blocking the signal to the extension where my wife's office is.

If I put the router one side of the wall it blocks the signal to the other side of the house and vice versa.

Anyone got any ideas?

I've got most of the house cabled up via some old Netgear routers but can't cable the extension.

I use a NETGEAR WN2000RPT Universal WiFi Range Extender

pretty faultless.
Bounces my beams down the other side of the barn as it's L shaped with the router at one end and the walls are 500mm thick.

Have you tried to network plug's, I can't remember the name I'm afraid, but I use a BT homehub, then plug an ethernet cable into an adapter that uses the house electrical circuit as a network, then just plug another one where you need it.

Mine work on spurs, extension leads and everything - sorry for the rubbish description, brain not working well this am
