Odd they didn't give that Giant Cat story the front page instead, wonder if it's related to the Flea Fair?

You need medical treatment as well reading an out of date paper..August 25th

I always though that the pastry casing protected the filling from going off. I've eaten all manner of out of date sausage rolls and porky pies and survived.

A quick Google finds that there are around 500 calories in a sayers pasty. 500 calories for a toddlers lunch. Nice.

It's taken me this long to actually calm down enough to post the picture.

p.s I'm assuming you're a pasty seller, bruneep?

I'm calling shenanigans on this story!!

There is no way that kid would even get a chance to get a bite of the pasty!

EDIT: Holy Cow... 99p Pasties!! I'd buy 'em even if they're a week past the UBD!

The Folkestone Herald is just a one of the worst local papers around. You should be strung up for buying it.

Although was strange to see it on Singletrack, thought there weren't any other forum dwellers from these parts......

Strange, isn't it, that the victim is clearly well-to-do (check out that wood cabinet and s****y red chair) and yet gives her son a bargain basement out-of-date pasty? Sounds like abuse to me...

Nice balanced meal, then!

3 days out of date would be the least of my worries!

There's not. I shamelessly stole the pic from Reddit.

You really can't blame me for this one Phil. Not this time!

No pasty, or pie, or pretty much any pastry-based product, would ever have got within a mile of its sell-by-date if I'd have been around! 😉

How about the DD approved bodyfat percentage measurement method? That's iDiet Lifestyle compliant.

Darcy - that ain't far from how to eat a sausage roll IIRC. Do you have a simple method for measuring VO2 max?

Why, yes, I do...it involves getting you to breathe heavily...but I can't write a technical description here for fear of a report...and the reporter is already contributing to this thread. 😉

You're a clumsy ole fella.

But we like you anyway.

I consider that a slurr on DD's personal morality.
Take it back you Bounder.

Famine in Somalia, scores of wounded massacred in Tripoli hospitals, we're running out of oil and the best that the Folkestone Herald can do is report on a rogue pasty.

🙂

If he'd included an extra 'n' in there, the inference would have been that he was actually blaming me. Perhaps he mis-typed it Phil?

Edited: I really do feel like a right **** now 😀
