My lad has a fondness for sheep also, hes 15 should i be worried ( pun intended)

My folks keep some sheep for a local farmer each year - usually the gimmer orphans that are a bit under sized and need some TLC. He's 8 and can still identify specific Swaledale ewes that they had 2 or 3 years before but have gone back to the farm in a field of 100+.
We've got some pet sheep.
