I'm getting kinda bored with porridge so I'd like an alternative, preferably something I can add fresh fruit to.

Muesli doesn't necessarily agree with me first thing in the morning, so I can count that out.

Oh, and healthy too, and doesn't leave me feeling hungry by 10am.

A favourite of mine was:
Corn flakes
All bran
5 fruits chopped on top, mango, papaya, banana, strawberries and peach (for example)
yoghurt
honey
Fat free milk

Now it's an omlette with vegetables and meat.

You tried swiss bircher? Soak porridge oats overnight in apple juice, in the morning add natural yoghurt and blackberries or raspberries - tinned are fine. Nice

I usually have mixed nuts and dried fruit for breakfast at about 7.30. I feel hungry by about 8.45, fight the pain!

I came here to say what Emsz said.

Look at porridge like a blank canvas that you can add any flavour to you like..... cinnamon, honey, blueberries, bananas, golden syrup, apple, etc etc

I do exactly that, just fancy a change.

Oh, and no eggs, as I can't be arsed in the morning.

Kedgeree (made with kippers) and toast - my all time fave. Takes some prep though.

Omelet in a wrap often forms one course.

Standard breakfast in our household is:
Cereal (variety including porridge and muesli)
then one from:
Toast and Brioche
Croissants and pain chocolat
Omelet wrap
French toast with maple syrup
Waffles
Pancakes
Poached egg

then Fruit to finish, all washed down with a pint of tea.
Breakfast like a King 🙂

Porage is improved by adding a chopped apple as it finishes cooking. Egremont Russets work particularly well, and should be on sale next month.
