If the current fleets of vans on the roads are anything to go by, Ford lost the van fleet market a long time ago. See a lot more Mercs, Vauxhalls, Nissans and Renault vans around than Trannies. My employer runs about 3000 vans nationally and the few that are Transits are always off getting repaired, switched to Sprinters a few years ago and they just keep going!
