😡 is all I have to say.

Bowie produced that version!
This is awesome TV.
I love BBC4.
keep swinging boys
He was clearly doing it as a piss take.
Genius otherwise.
Didn't realise i know and like so many of his songs!
Love Bowie , one of the few performers that kind be described as a bona fide legend.
Legend.
Fantastic TV but work keeps getting in the way!
I'd love to read an autobiography by him, not sure he'd remember much though!!
Classic TV, still going on with the last Ziggy concert..
Bowie ruled the early seventies. Amazing talent.
I was such a fan. Still am. But am reminded of those aspirations, politically not realised. What went wrong?
Anyway, he is surely one of the gods of music.
He surely is one of the heroes.....
grrr - missed that
truly an icon, really did cover an awful lot of bases rather well
I feel a you tube session and all my old cassettes and albums coming out
we could be heroes?..
I'm watching it all over again now.
Realising now that I wish he never fixed his teeth.
Great recent performance of Wild Is The Wind at the BBC.
Also, amazing to hear that he recorded vocals on 95% of his early tracks in one take!
in light of recent health issues, is it likely Bowie will ever tour again?
I can't find any clues on official website or such
Midge Ure prog about Bowie on Radio 4 now
.
The only person ever to look cool with a red mullet (hair, not fish)?
Dunno what Woppit's posted a Beegees parody for (oh, got it, its e heebeegeebees bowie tribute), but my heart is warmed by the good taste shown by STW on this thread. can't say I lisen to Bowie much these days, but when the tracks appear on shuffle on the iPod, I am always reminded of waht a genius he was.
'Survive' was one of his great tracks from the late 90's, give it a go if you haven't already.
I still think he's a couple more great tracks left in him. Come on Mr Bowie.. one final hurrah?..
And for those still unclear how 'Bowie' is supposed to be pronounced, it's 'Bowie', not 'Bowie'
there's always this magical combo, from just a handful of years ago..
So what is your favourite Bowie album?
Hunky Dory still rules for me.
So what is your favourite Bowie album?
The Man Who Sold The World.
We only caught the second half, but I hadn't realised that I liked so many of his songs. I assume the band towards the end was recent - they were amazing! And as for that version of Ashes to Ashes right at the end, stunning. Wish I could get that on my ipod.
Grew up in the 80's as kids listening to Let's Dance and Loving the Alien before discovering his 70's stuff in my Dad's record collection.
Let's Dance(a bit too pop foor some)
There's a star man...
*Goes to check iplayer*
So what is your favourite Bowie album?
Hmmmm - Hunky Dory I think just edges Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane. They're all great albums IMO

acoustic version of lady stardust always brings a tear to my eye, its such a well crafted, superb song.
It's not his out and out defining classic album, but for out and out playability I can't get enough of Let's Dance. The guitarmanship on that album, especially Cat People, just gets me (dancing) every time.
I love going back to one of his earlier albums around once a year and playing it to death for a few weeks.
Hunky Dory, Scary Monsters and Let's Dance are my favs great to be reminded of them again.
the best Bowie song ever.
Good shout Ton.
Queen Bitch still rules though 8)
Yeah, right...
