I've found STW a fountain of useless uninformed opinion about guitar as much as anything else. personally I wouldn't go anywhere else
however the les paul forum - birds and moons for PRS chatter and theres a good bunch of people over at the telecaster forum
Harmony central has a few guitar forums for arguing
my tip of the week is subscribe to scott groves (groovydjs) on you tube - I love that guy - such a genius
