Well one out of 4 ain't bad !
Pans! Nope - never in the dishwasher, take up far too much room
Fully agreed. I happily do the pan(s) in the sink, using the hot, soapy water to wipe over various surfaces first. Pans also have a tendency to lose non-stick, to stain or even to rust in the dishwasher because salt gets added sometimes. Most everything else goes in the DW, but I get to stack it, otherwise it'll be very inefficiently stacked - see John Richardson for details.
Eggs ? No room for eggs - mother in law keeps her veggies in the dishwasher. I have absolutely no clue why.
Re: Cutlery Drawer - Youngest daughter is completely triggered by a messy layout - everything ordered, sharpest at the back, bluntest at front. Don't poke the bear

Nah stainless pots go in the dishwasher.
My iron and steel pans get washed, dried and oiled.
I have no need for non stick.
What are the spinny arm things called BTW? We refer to them as "Twaslers".
"Spinny arm things" here.
I'm going to lead a training session on the use of Twaslers as a term now, with PowerPoint, that is compulsory for all residents of oab_towers.
What's a dishwasher?
If you have to ask, it's probably you.
I am also giving feedback of fekking crap Zannussi built in dishwasher supplied by Bellway.
It's a bit like fitting wire bead Conti Vert Pro's. They are everywhere, but if you have used anything else you realise they are complete shite.
Where's that Miele outlet?
If you have to ask, it's probably you.
I didnt ,its me so i'll be off then TTFN
Have any of you thought about running a country? I know one thats just crying out for you.
What's a dishwasher?
Like me you're either poor or a pervert apparently.
Aside from the ability to perform my wonky drawer trick, anyone else’s got a ludicrous emotionLight™️?
That blue light really shows up your Siemens!
I haven't got an "emotion light", but our integrated washing machine (not Miele) has a projector in it that shines a little picture of what the machine cycle is doing and how long it has left to run on to the floor. However, as this is an integrated appliance, what it actually does is projects it on to the inside of a closed door.
A Miele would send one of their efficient chaps round to unload it and hang it all out to dry.

I will see your blue lit dishwasher and raise you our tumble drier that does the same.
Just one question.
Why?
who's got time to line up their cutlery!!
"it's best if you organise your cutlery, so keep all your knives, forks etc together, then it's much quicker to put away"
Absolutely this. Putting away the cutlery goes from the worst part to the best part of the unload.
Some of the kitchen drawers on this thread will make your teeth itch!... 🤣

Sounds like an installation issue. All the integrated ones I've seen with this feature nicely display it on the floor by the kick/foot board. It's the one 'feature' I want our aging machine to die so we can get one with it (stops those who can't pay attention from opening the machine while its on!).
Nothing to do with the installation. The whole point of a door and kickboard on an integrated appliance is that you can't see the integrated appliance.
It may as well be beaming out the "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi" message. If the door is shut nobody can see it.
