In the next photo she’s ignoring the flooding in Mytholmroyd and is scanning the horizon

She’s looking up to Hebden Bridge. Like we all do in Mytholmroyd, all the time. [ joke ]

Calder Valley has returned a Tory since 2010. In 2019 with an increased margin. Presumably the locals where happy since those floods happened in 2015.

She’s someone who used the floods in Yorkshire as another photo op, a kind of disaster/poverty porn shoot for her middle-aged Tory members Only Fans subscirption.

Liz Truss Looking At Things In The Distance With a Disaster Background.

A bit like ChrisFroomeLookingAtStems

Needs hi-vis and a hard hat

How can any actual human being genuinely think that putting this clown, a literal clown, in charge of anything more than a television remote, is beyond me.

@nickc - I'm sure that the flood affected people down in the Calder Valley are not staunch Tory voters. It's the people in the big houses up the hill that voted for Craig Shittaker

@kimbers - as scary as that GCSE photography portrait is, it's what is behind the grey curtain that concerns me

Why is she wearing wellies?

Are laces or buckles too hard to use?

I don't think it is... but someone should get busy with it...

What should we have being crushed under her left welly?

What should be sticking out from under the backdrop sheet?

Who should be peeping over the wall?

Perhaps a job for Cold War Steve.

Most clowns prefer the 'massive shoe' look.

God knows what scene she's trying to re-enact there but if she pops the apple on her head, I know one scene I'd like to re-enact. Anyone got a crossbow?

I do, but it's not very accurate.

Does that matter?

Thanks Kimbers.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/breaking-fifty-partygate-fines-handed-26693168

The is a certain genius that not only were the "burn the evidence, kick the results into the long grass" enquiry findings postponed indefinitely for the police to investigate instead, but the results of their findings are secret. A cover up for the whitewash. Layers and layers of process to obfuscate what happened... and dull, numb and bore the electorate into accepting a "move on" narrative... despite losing loved ones, missing funerals, and struggling through such a difficult time with such limited social contact, while Johnson, his household, and his teams, partied on after making it illegal for everyone to do so. One rule for us, one rule for them... and all the tools are available to them to try and hide or distract us from the truth, even when issued with fines for breaking their own laws. Never forget. Don't fall for it.

They gotta go, shirley?

Under any normal administration, one possessing even the slightest hint of guilt or shame, they'd be long gone anyway.

Can you see Boris resigning?

No, me neither.

They'll just carry on brazening it out. They literally couldn't give a ****.

Will be good to watch PMQs anyway, not because Boris is going to say anything he hasn't before, but because I'm sure Kier will make him look very uncomfortable.

he just, er… look, the Prime Minister tells the truth.

...to the best of his ability.

Normally you wouldn't expect him to make it to PMQs tomorrow, but hopefully some fire and brimstone awaits him there.

Just to pre-empt what we'll be hearing repeated over the next weeks of him refusing to resign...

"Now is not the correct time to be... blah, blah, blah"

He’ll just bluff his way through as usual, “Brexit! Labour would still have us in lockdown! War! Brexit! Common sense! Brexit!”

Now Rishi has screwed his chance of the big job it’d be quite funny for him to resign as chancellor to put the pressure on that sack of shite in a suit pm.

Was thinking this. He genuinely has nothing to lose, and it may even help his political rehabilitation at some point in the future if he feigns some principles now. Plus it will be a perfect moment of revenge against the man who likely leaked all the non-dom stuff.

Plus, did anyone notice him moving his wife and kids out of Downing Street last week?

My main worry now , is what shitstorm will they cook up to take us in another direction...
Not had a homeland terror alert for a while to keep us in check.

They’re on holiday until 19th (great minds etc!)

Isn't there a war on ? Or are we downing weapons for Easter ?

Johnson and Sunak fined! 😂

Just checking...
They're being fined for the [s]work gatherings[/s] parties that didn't happen, but that did happen but which they weren't at while simultaneously being at them but not knowing they were parties but they did know that all rules had been followed while they both were and were not there.

Is that about it?

I feel sorry for poor Rishi - I know how tough it can be getting an unexpected £50 bill in the middle of the month. Wonder if he can get a pass to wait until payday, poor chap.

The fact that the Met “chose” to do this when parliament was in recess, just goes to show that they all consider themselves above the law (if any more evidence was needed)
