I need to put up 3 metres of shelving for home office storage. Is Ikea the obvious solution???

I bought some brackets from screwfix and mahogany faced, ex-library shelves from the local wood recycling centre.

Thanks for the replies..... Have a feeling my local recycling centre will not be sufficiently well organised to have shelves kept carefully, but you never know.

Depends how far IKEA is. Argos stuff will do just as well, as would B&Q. Staples too, but overpriced. You're really just going for a lunch of meatballs and berries, aren't you?
