At the end of last summer we cleaned our decking with some proper deck cleaner stuff (not deck stripper) and then put a clear non-slip coating on. This worked OK, the deck isn't slippery now, but it did dry to a kind of uneven and unsightly colour, so we're thinking of painting or staining it this year.
Any advice/experience on whether we could just put paint or stain straight on the anti-slip coating, or would we need to strip it first?
