I mean "Metal". Big quote unquote.

Like this>

Or like Trivium before he lost his voice.

Edit: Wikipedia says it's Metalcore. Whatever, make it angry.

I see your Soulfly and raise you

Tazzy, I've been wanting to have a proper grown up chat about in this "OFFENDED OFFENDED ON TWITTER!!!!" age how well a C.o.F. "Jesus is a *" t-shirt would go down now, as versus a decade ago.

Since that bloke got done for wearing, essentialy, a " the police" one.

I was given a copy of their first album by one of the guitarists of Akercocke, as he was going out with someone I knew at the time.

I never really got into them though.

If you want to waste even more of your time, in a pointless & entirely predictable moron-troll-fest, check it

Alternatively, the fist time this happened

Funny ol' BBC.

Try this app. 'Discover music'. Stick in the app search box, it's great, there is one for movies as well

Cheers Cap'n.

Always intrigued me how, for the most part, all this metalcore lot have scrawny milquetoast lads up-front, the sort who have just had a law built up to protect them from bigots, but then they open their gob and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Good stuff.

Is it metal? Well I don't know but it's the only properly noisy thing I've heard recently that made an impression... Everything else just makes me want to go and listen to Burn My Eyes.

OK so it's hardcore not metal, I care not, heavy is heavy. Love the guitar in this.

Have you dabbled in Djent at all? Periphery's self titled debut and follow up albums are worth a listen.

allyharp, Gojira are fantastic, thanks for reminding me about them!

I can't recommend Baroness highly enough, especially the first 2 albums. Torche also are great. Like if Japandroids found sludge.

By the way, what did everyone make of the news about As I Lay dying? Weird thing to wake up to.
