What about the poverty porn - jeremy whassisname? "my boyfriend betrayed me with his gay hamster. I wouldn't mind but it's black and I've got a lifetime daily mail subscription"

bored is not a word that should come out of an adults mouth.
got a games console/pc? online gaming is ace, get involved.
have a ****?
do both of above on drugs or drink to make it a bit different.

Go back to bed for a bit, what could be better than lying in bed??

Admittedly I am far lazier than most, still my favorite way to pass the time.

Read books about cycling and start dreaming/planning that holiday.
I have just finished "one man and his bike" and am currently reading "obsessive compulsive cycling disorder". I would also recommend "French revolutions".

Back-to-back Game of Thrones marathon? That should take care of 30 hours or so.

Then consider Boardwalk Empire, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis...

Or just buy a PS4 and GTA 5 and lose yourself in the online game.

netflix is 6 quid a month. I watch all the really crap action movies when I' home alone. or start to watch new series until I realise they're mostly crap. A really good series on netflix is House of Cards, season 2 coming out in Feb.

Keep the ideas coming.

Unfortunately I have to decline the mind bending substance option, what with a job to return to that'd take a very dim view of that, oh and two kids to watch after they get home from school.

Might give Hannial a look. Any other series, usually into the Sci-fi stuff. Hell fire even "Planes" is doing my heid in. The joys of having one of the kids home from school, poorly.

Breaking bad is on there as well - 5 series should keep you occupied. And you can get a months free trial anyway so why not...

Should probably say, when I'm bored I like to get stuck in to something on Coursera. Pick one that is nearly over and plough through it. Not always relaxing though.

Maybe build an Airfix?

Watch Amélie on demand with the kiddie, lust after Audrey Tatou and enjoy a thoroughly entertaining, rather unusual film.

....or watch any Cohen Brothers film, but without the kiddie.

He also fails at Jekkyl's suggestion of taking drugs 🙂

Good book overall - Dedicated to Tommy Simpson

Cheers folks.

loddrik - Road Biking. Cycling through a wee village last Monday, crossed a road and started up the pavement heading for the cycle way when I slipped on black ice. The bike went down and right, my left leg went the opposite way and twisted my left foot anti clockwise. The over extension of the ligaments resulted in a plug of bone being pulled out of my tibia. That's the diagnosed injury. The undiagnosed one is from my MIL who was a Radiographer. She thinks the twist would most likely have snapped my tibia at the top aswell. A standard result of such an injury. Back to the hospital tomorrow for more X-rays so fingers crossed it's not that bad. Still 6 weeks off apparenly.

Bawllawcks!

On the plus side lt's more time to post on here!

Watching that crap makes me want to launch the remote at the telly... and I can't afford a new telly.

I've been at home ill all week. Watched all the TV and films I haven't yet watched and I"ve now resorted to teaching myself maths again cos I've nowt better to do. It seems a lot harder than it was when I was 18.
