I went to use one a few months back (gala to inners). My only complaint was that the first bus to arrive wasn't compatible for bikes, the driver would have let me on with it anyway unless a pram or elderly person wanted the space (guess what happened). They also told me I could track buses on their app but this did not tell me if the particular bus was a bike bus or not. I waited half an hour for the next bus and it was a bike bus, couldn't figure out how to use the official straps on the bike so just used a seat belt to secure it on. Was happy enough with the service when the bike was on though. Just watch out that you may have to wait on a compatible bus though so add that into your journey time

It doesn't time table the bike busses but the live tracker does tell you. I commute on it all the time although not with a bike and actually not in the last 18 months 😀

But it stops outside my window and most of the busses are bike friendly.

It's a good bus, but sometimes difficult to tell if the bus will take bikes. The info is on the livetracker but it's gash.

Other main issue is that the bike buses back to Edinburgh stop around 5pm so if you're riding in the Tweed valley it doesn't work that well to leave after lunch or whatnot. You'll end up cycling to Gala for the train to get home.

My pal uses it almost every weekend. She uses the live tracker and seems to have no issues. We generally have a pint with her post ride waiting for the next one.
