Ah, good old Bob! Saw the Huskers and Sugar at least half a dozen times each. Shame that his big, girly strops caused both bands to disintegrate. Still, I suppose, that's the artist in him...

Is that coming to the UK at all? Loved that album.

Love Workbook too, the most depressing album I've ever heard. Then he follows it with something called Black Sheets of Rain. I passed on that, is it any good?

I have tickets too...can't wait for it, mate had tickets for Sugar in the Mayfair in 92 or 93 but didn't show! (some family bollocks) so I had to miss out...

Black Sheets of Rain is a great album, I don't find it 'too' dark, but non-Bob fans aren't keen when I play it to them...it's one for the fans.

Read his book to find out where he was mentally at the time of the Husker breakup and his solo stuff...he's a deep and complex old queen!

Oldies? Pah, they're youngsters.
Gerry Garcia? Lowell George? Tim Buckley? Capn Beefheart?........now you're talking. Whoops! What's that? They're all dead? Oh alright then.
