Couldn't see a live thread for this year, so here we go. First bloom came out here on the outskirts of Reading a couple of weeks ago. You're not having to find blooms among the leaves now. Roll on Spring!

The ones in my garden are just showing the flower spikes, no blooms open yet. I have got primroses, cowslips, oxslips, a couple of wood anemones, a fritillary…

I’ll be keeping my eyes open for bluebells in the wild -they’ll probably be along the Weavern Loop, the walk out of Biddestone I often do, looking for hares.

There's another small blue flower that comes out in the spring but I can never remember what it's called.

We have the beginnings of flowers here (east Shrops) but a little way to go yet. Maybe a couple of weeks, with luck.

I think the Surrey Hills are peaking. Were on a part of Ranmore I don't think we've ridden at just the right time in the past but it was full on blue.

The bluebells above are in Styal woods, the NT place near Quarry Bank Mill, near Wilmslow. They will look great in a few more days.

Still great out in the Chilterns. Won't last forever as the trees are getting their leaves now.

Bluebells were covering Dartmoor today. The valley was completly overed in blue. The photo's don't do it justice.

There's a good example of spring's stay track north. It's in Berks/Oxon have all gone over to seed now. It's presently goose grass and bramble season.

Climbing Jack common in Mortimer forest, Ludlow has a spectacular display every year.  We took a walk up there on Wednesday.  This is just a portion. There are hundreds of acres completely carpeted with bluebells.

Based on my run yesterday, they're starting to fade here in the midlands, summer must be here.
