PS4 opened today and after an hour of nothing and much googling I've come to the disheartening conclusion it is ****ed! Anyone else had the flickering blue light problem?!
I presume you've followed sony's troubleshooting guide?

I got thrashed by my 9 yr old Nephew @ FIFA14 on his today, bah.
I thought I'd done the same..
But I unplugged my PS4 from the power supply after holding the power button too turn it off and then touched the power button too turn it on and it worked for me. Got a video of it failing...
So did you turn it off then unplugged it..then turned it back on?
Mate bought an X-box 1 to avoid ths issue. It went off to the repairers last week after 5 hurs of use.
Quick update...rang sony, they agreed I had a faulty unit and are sending me another out on Monday
Faulty already. I think I will stick with my ps3
