are blu ray players available in multi region format?
i just bought a blu ray player and realised it doesnt play a load of dvd's i have from other regions. can the blu ray be modified to play dvds from other regions?? can i do the mods myself??

i recently bought a new denon bluray player that was modded to play multi region dvd's. best place to ask questions is www.avforums.com
when I bought my Oppo there was a £40 hardware kit that made it multiregion.
Also using an oppo for this very reason (and they are arguably the best players on the market!)
Not Blue Ray admittedly, but our Phillips DVD player was UK only. But theres a series of button presses which got me into the hardware menu and you just change it to be region free.
Our Samsung TV can be told its a different model by going into the service menu and then you can play mpegs etc via USB
