Just managed to find a regular supply of this local delicacy, so now wondering how long to soak them before i can cook them up?
Mmmm, black peas with salt and vinegar.... drooooollll.

I'll have you know black peas are a (very) local delicacy traditionally eaten at bonfire night - no, i don't know why either! 😆

I was hoping the soak time was a couple of hrs but it seems overnight is the right way to go - pity, was looking forward to a pea supper!
