Congrats on getting a Defender.

They are fantastic - I've just come back from camping in the back of mine in the Sahara.

@cranberry : just had a peek at your Coppermine gallery.

If you did the Wild Wales thing with Vince Cobley you will have driven up my road. Past a nice 110, (and lets be honest LR drivers always notice another one) that's mine 🙂

Yeah it's a bit shit. No paging threads allowed, but no PM system in place.

Oh well.

I don't know, you drive your land rover to the middle of the desert and there's someone holding a bloody rave one sand dune over from where you decide to park up for the night!

re: PM's etc - you can put an email address in your profile if you want people to be able to contact you. Some people have one setup specifically for stw.

Busted. All that money that I spent getting my 110 helicoptered from Holland down to Tunisia is wasted because of your keen observational skills 🙁

( the photo was taken in the morning and it had rained overnight )

Here's one complete with tyre tracks and footprints:

Tiger I probably did pass your Landy last Christmas, but the salient memory of the two days was having 2.5 tones of Range Rover sliding sideways down a hill covered in black ice towards me - thinking about it still sends a shiver down my spine. 😯

I have:
1998 110 Defender 300 TDi Van body with rear windows, XS alloys, full rack, underbody armour, etc.

1984 LR 110 2.5D 11 Seater

Discovery 3

but I can take 'em or leave 'em really 🙂
