I’ve accidentally ‘liked’ an anti-cyclist comment on a story on my local rag’s website.
When I tapped the ‘thumb up’ button again it added an other like rather than removing it!
Any ideas how to stop this so the idiot doesn’t think people like his comment??

Keep pressing the Like button until it reaches 100, then it will reset to zero.

Could you not write to the president of the internet and have the website terminated?

Change your name. Move to another town. Or just ignore it like everyone else.

If it is anything like my local paper's website then he'll already have dozens of likes and yours will be lost in the noise. If you really care then post a counter point comment but don't expect it to go well

Post the same comment on your account and then dislike it for balance.

Explain your mistake in a carefully crafted comment. I'm sure he'll understand.
